Default URL won't paste into post

I tried numerous times to insert the url of a previous SRP post into a current post. The address would come up with several words missing and show an error when it was accessed. The address I was trying to insert is: http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...ome-razor.html.

I'll be curious to see if it comes up in its entirety this time.

    Regards - Walt

No, it doesn't. The missing part of the address after SRP.com is razors/73015-microtome-razor.html

    Yeah, for some reason this:

    http://straightrazorpalace.com/!73015!

is being added before the URL for the link you want. Weird thing is that the link looks OK as I see it above when quoting it here.

EDIT: what I mean is that the link address should be
    "http://straightrazorpalace.com/razors/73015-microtome-razor.html"
but for some reason it is being rendered as
    "http://straightrazorpalace.com/!73015!http://straightrazorpalace.com/razors/73015-microtome-razor.html"

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Well, I had to try. Went to the thread and copied the URL and pasted it into this post and got this conversion of the URL to the thread name, which works.

    http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...ome-razor.html

    Or, am I misunderstanding?

Edit: No, I'm not misunderstanding now. In the go advanced, and preview post it showed up as the thread name, "Microtome razor" and worked from the preview post box, then when I hit submit reply it posted, the above, as you said.
