I'm thinking about trying this soap out, but heard something disturbing while looking for threads on it, heard that this soap with alum in it could be bad for you Str8s edge. Does anyone know is there is any truth to this or is it total myth?

Yes, edhewitt mentioned watch out for the alum, and he's right of course. But, as with any standard care of a razor, you make sure you properly rinse the blade off, wipe with tissue, and store dry and properly.Quote:
