Best Haloween Ever! (Strop Shoppe Black Tie)

Greetings! Pretty new SR shaver here. I've been doing my research and slowly putting together a nice soap collection. This paycheck, I was determined to try out some Strop Shoppe tallow soaps so I ordered a few up from their site. It said it takes about three weeks, but then, after I already ordered, I cruise by Shavenation.com and see GeoFatBoy has some Strop Shoppe Black Tie w/ Tallow in stock! So I just had to order some of that. Well well well, not only did brown santa deliver my black tie today, but also finally received my Dirty Bird scuttle after 7.5 weeks of waiting!! New soap, new scuttle! Oh man, I was stoked to put all the pieces together. Anyway, on to the Black Tie. I'm no soap expert, but this stuff smells great, kinda like black tea, actually, dark, a little spice, very nice. I loaded the brush eagerly awaiting the results of lathering in the Dirty Bird. No kidding, the stuff exploded with warm, delicious creamy foam in the scuttle. My days of using my beginner chrome mini bowl are over! The foam was so soft and slick, and adding water using the dribble port was pretty trick! So this is more of me sharing my excitement with my new stuff than anything. Can't wait for my other soaps to arrive, and hope the scuttle makes making foam this easy all the time. My face feels great! Get some!
