Normally I do the standard. I scoop out an almond size dollop add it to my brush. Then swirl my brush in my bowel. This seems wasteful to me. Any disadvantage to just swirling my brush in the cream to coat it?

I've never tried adding cream to the brush then swirl. I mostly use soaps but on the occasion I do use cream I drop a dollop in the bowl then swirl with the brush.
As do I. Wonder if putting the wet brush in the cream tub to add the cream would mess it io
That's what I always do. Just dab the brush in he cream, or if using a tube apply directly to the brush or bowl.
None what so ever. I've lived long enough to realize that directions on a product are written to encourage high use resulting in more sales. Do what you feel is right, scoop or brush, large amount or keep working it down to where you're not getting the lather you want. And you might be surprised by how little you might end up needing. lso, consider face lathering as a way of getting minimal use from your cream.
Ok gents thx! Shave on
In order to properly add Creams, one needs a snurdler,is just no other way to do the deed properly.
The snurdler should be made of Buffalo horn with Lignum end cap,The dipping cup should be made of real Ivory.
anything less is a total waste of time:)
