While I'm not aware of any scents made for women there are some that will not offend a woman. There are many almond scented soaps that I don't find gender specific. Other soaps/creams that I think would work with women would be the many lavender, rose, or violet scents available. Others to consider are Musgo Reals Orange Amber or Pere Lucien. Even MDC would work as it's mainly an herbal scent......not necessarily ladylike in its scent but not especially masculine either. Proraso Blue would fit as well since it just kinda smells like soap. But Proraso Blue has some menthol that may not be welcome.
I believe HTGAM Synergy has a special line of soaps dedicated to women, or something like that.
Lavender and rose are always welcome female scents and there are a lot of good choices in soaps and creams.
Red Leaf English Coast. My wife claims it smells "girlie" and giggles when I shave with it. It's a floral scent and does remind me of several female perfumes. The scent does go away after the soap is washed off, but while shaving with it the whole bathroom smells nice.
+1 on the Almond/Italian Almond... I think Cella soap is really neutral and would be smilar to vanilla scent in the ability to serve as either a woman's or a man's scent.

Somebody a few days ago said they use Dove bath and facial bars. She may like that.
Hoppes No. 9
,,,,,,,,,,,:rofl2:
I would look at How to Grow a Moustache, as Synergy has a whole line of soaps, razors, and other products just for women shavers.
I hear Straight Razor Designs has a Ladies section
Ha ha, where'dya hear that Lynn
:rofl2:
I have nothing to offer other than let her chose. I shaved with rose today and finished with some buckthorn aftershave. The wife loved it as I kissed her goodbye. I asked her if she would be interested in some - no way she said. Too manly.
Let her pick I say.
I can vouch for the scent of Mama Bear's "Roses." I use the stick, and can't get enough of it.

I make a shaving soap called 'Pink Moustache' - it's a collaboration with Petal Pusher Fancies and has a light lavender/coconut scent. Its formulated for sensitive skin and both men and women have been enjoying it.
I also use HTGAM Peach, Proraso white & Dreadnought. She's in for a delightful journey! Happy shaving!
I have been using a lot of my boyfriend, Frank's (franfC) soaps... His Dr. Harris lavender is nice... I also went to mama bears website and was sent two shave sticks, one Rosemary mint, one hydrogen.. I enjoy them both! I also purchased cella, it smells delightful, but I haven't used it yet, but Frank says it shaves well... I enjoy the shave sticks because of their convenience and I just don't need a thick lather for my legs... I have completed 2 solo shaves to date with no irritation, with my SR, a brush, and shave stick... When you get to JBLM, bring the misses with you when you have your meeting with Frank and she and I can talk shaving too :) good luck!!!
As far a soap goes thanks everyone for your input my wife went with Synergy "like" we haven't got it yet we should receive it with in couple of days. @shannon I'll, and thank you for the invitation!
I love Proraso White, Petal Pusher Fancies Briar or coconut oil to shave with (especially if my skin is irritated).
The soap is here and the smell is awesome, wife is so happy

Great soap! Enjoy!
I make a great soap "Pink Moustache' with Petal Pusher Fancies - I call is a "soap hybrid" as it's a soft soap and vegan. You can find it on the Razor Emporium Website. I would also recommend anything by:
Petal Pushers Fancies (female soapmaker)
Ginger's Garden soaps (female soapmaker)
Proraso (Especially the white)
Cella (with sweet almond oil)
Castle Forbes (best lather on the planet, well worth the cost) Lavender or Lime
Let me know if you have any other questions! She may also enjoy some of my how-to Youtube videos. Sharp Shaving - YouTube
Happy Shaving!
My wife is hooked on Nancy Boy Signature...
It's a fine product and I have to agree... she gets her best shaves when she uses it.
Easy to lather, great scent, and very moisturizing.
Cold River Soap Works, many of his scents are on the feminine side, IMO, especially Puro Fresco. Incredible lather though...
I have a tub of Ylang Ylang from Mama Bear's. Here is the description.
Say it "lang-lang" This sweet, exotic, sensual floral is a must have. Some swear by its aphrodisiac properties. Blends great with jasmine, lavender, sandalwood and rose.
It's not working on me. Maybe it has to be applied directly :<0) Careful !!
Recently got my Wife DE Shaving and we bought TOBS 'Grapefruit' and 'Lemon-Lime'... Turns out she likes the Lemon-Lime and she described the scent as "Clean and Citrusy".
My wife ( she uses a SR on her legs) loves the T & H Rose and the Maggards Lilac. I do also
Daughter-in-law likes the Cella.
So, now with the merger of HTGAM and PPF into Phoenix Artisan Acoutrements... Does anyone know how that affects the line of Soaps designed for women?
Vanilla and Lavender
I was thinking about the soaps I have used in the past and present. I have to say...the homemade tallow soap is my favorite. Even if it is unscented, I still like it. I am really not a fan of heavy scents. That goes for perfume as well.
I like the tallow so far to shave with too...though I feel the shave soap I made is a great conditioner...the tallow seems to feel better...during the shave. I am sure it is all in my head. The closeness is the same, but the way the razor glides is more smooth with tallow...My guess is, I wouldn't want that glide with the straight shave...hence, why clay should be added?
