I have found Williams at a Walgreens and VDH premium and luxury soaps at Walmart. I really like the VDH luxury so once they started stocking that I had to grab a couple pucks incase they stop selling it. Anything else I have to order. Used to have a Bath and Bodyworks that sold Proraso, but not anymore.
Sounds like Germany is the place to live then..!
Shame supermarkets don't stock better stuff.
In my town you can find Williams, Wilkinsons, Nivea, Prorasso green and white, and Kiss My Face. Bigger cities I have found L'Occitaine for Cade soap and creams and Jack Black. Found a London Drugs store in Regina that carried Tabac after shave lotion and EDT but oddly enough no Tabac shave soap or cream. For most I depend on the net. I guess it really so not so bad after all. Nothing really classy locally though.

Monsavon bol à raser, I haven't tried it yet but the smell of the puck is very nice. That has to be the cheapest puck I have ever seen at €1.12 per 125g with bowl.

It looks good and you can't beat the price. Wish it were available here in the States. Need a new scent adventure.
Glad to stumble on to this thread..
I picked up a puck of Williams this week for $1.19 US and tried it for the first time on Wednesday. We have it in a few "regular" stores in Dallas, along with VDH.
But every trip to Germany for work I drive my colleagues bonkers as I hit the grocery stores for Palmolive Sticks - one of the best for your travel kit.
Next trip I will look for the Monsavon....
For the Monsavon, there's a trick... you're not very likely to find it in a shop in Germany, I got it from a French supermarket in Luxembourg ;) If you cross the border to France, you're likely to find it in any grocery store and even possibly in tobacco shops.
