Show us your Supermarket Special
I used to hate shaving.
I used to have a Mach 3.
And think it was pretty good.
I used to buy whatever was on the supermarket shelf. Usually a gel or foam, and a balm.
Now I really enjoy shaving. I no longer use a Mach3… But I tend to look at shaving stores online and wistfully think about what next cream or soap to buy. I kinda miss the simple supermarket stuff.
So show us your cheap, easy to find, big brand products! I'm a bit partial to good old Fauldings

Almost all American supermarkets only care the canned crap and multi-bladed pieces of junk. Not even a puck of Williams to be found there. There are, tho, a few discount chains that care Williams and Nivea Sensitive AS Balm. Mail order is the order of the day as specialty shops are few and far between. Big cities might have brick and mortar specialty stores.

Thanked: 375Agree with Razorfeld, we only have Williams, VDH, and Real shaving cream (good stuff the R.S anyway) and the rest is pressurized cans like Barbasol, Colgate, Nivea, Gillette....
You really have to look for the Real shaving cream to find it.CHRIS

Hey Razofeld, I like you live in Oregon. Walmart is carrying a few like Niva and some new Dove for men products. You also have anew store sort of close to you in Washington Square Mall, "the Art of Shaving" is now open as well as the Asian market in Beaverton had a few last time I was there.
It's a beautiful day somewhere I hope!

Yeah, I have a Walmart right next door in Cornelius. There is a Body Shop in Portland and one of the malls. I will make an effort to visit the maze called Washington Square Mall soon and I do like Uwajimaya in Beaverton for many products (sushi grade fish, etc).
Nice to hear from an Oregonian into mock ritual suicide on a daily basis. Let me know next time you are up this way if you will have time to meet for a cupa and razor talk.
