Benjamin Barber Classic Shaving Soap

Has anyone tried this soap? It smells amazing but I can't seem to lather this up nicely. The lather disappears after a few minutes on your face and I have tried with dry brush and wet brush also tried adding water slowly.
The lather looks good in the bowl but as soon as it goes on your face it disappears after a few minutes.

It's a shame as I really like the smell but have to throw it away if I can't lather it up properly so I thought I'd give it a try here and see if someone else tried this soap.

I haven't tried it, but it might just need a drop or two of glycerin to get it to work right.
