    Default Crackerjack Watch Out

Yesterday I received a bulging USPS small box from my good friend Tom (Sharptonn). Tom a while back asked me for a puck of my favorite smelling soaps Aramis for a little experiment, I didnt ask questions just sent the puck.
Amamis while smelling wonderful is a chore to get going. You need a boat load of glycerin to get any respectable amount of lather.

On a side note as a goof I used to send people packages and instead of packing them with styrofoam shipping peanuts I would use instead dollar store army men as shipping material. It got a laugh many a time.

Getting back to the soap. I opened Toms box to find an old Proraso container I opened up the container and instantly smelled the aroma of Aramis, but instead of puck form it looked like oatmeal. I laughed uncontrollably because Tom in his stellar sense of humor also put in the bowl two miniature versions of plastic army men still on patrol.
Guess you had to be there.

What Tom made was Aramis/Williams uber lather soap. He grated a half puck of Aramis, a half puck of Williams and a couple of vials of glycerin microwaved a bit to congeal.

Today I tried the sketchy looking concoction with my favorite brush Muhle badger and my Feather D.E.
Result was a wonderful thick and rich lather that held up thru the whole shave.

Nothing comes close to the smell of Aramis its simply amazing.
Well done Tom I really dug it a lot.
