Queen Charlotte Soaps... Opinions?
Hey all,
I have been using DR Harris Arlington shaving soap and I really enjoy the scent but I am feeling the need to expand. I found the website for Queen Charlotte soaps and they make a lot of different scents that sound appealing to me and I was wondering if anyone here has used them and can give me an opinion on how they smell and function?

QCS has some great products and the service.
And Vostok is, IMHO, the drop dead best Menthol shaving soap I've ever tried...Support Movember!

I have QCS in what they call QCS scent. To me it has indescribable scent (patchouli might be the closest). This particular scent to me is border line unpleasant but it's faint and the soap is a great performer. You can't go wrong with any one of them.

As far as smell that's pretty subjective. I really like the key lime. As to function I find the lather, cushion, glide and moisturizing (which are the important elements of function to me) to be first rate.

Vetiver was great, very earthy. It was was a good lathering soap too.

The scents are very strong. There's a couple that I really like.
To me, the lather is mediocre at best.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

So I just ordered a couple different shaving soaps as well as hand soaps to try from these guys. I will report back with my experience after I get to use them a bit. I will say, I placed the order late last night online and by the time I got to work this morning I had already received my picking confirmation and shipping confirmation. That is some pretty quick turn around!

I have used QCS in the past and found them to be great. I don't remember all the scents i tried but i do remember using the vostok, kind of an unforgettable experience.

They are great. I'm being very picky here, but they tend to lack the slickness that I prefer when straight shaving. IMHO Again...Great scents and I have a few of them.
