Ummmm, why? How long does a puck of Williams last you?

That much would last me at least 725 years and I figure once I've transferred my consciousness into my cyborg I probably won't be shaving anywhere near that long anyway.

I like william's mug soap too! I actually wrote down when I started a puck of it . It lasted 15 days shaving everyday. I have a Muhle in the cup now that has lasted 20 days, and it is about gone. I had to do this for my wife's inquiry mind. I am pretty sure Santa is going to drop a few pucks in my stocking this year.

Never a lack of Williams in the stores here.

How the heck do you do that?

I know that I am on the other far extreme with Williams lasting me 5 years but how do you burn through an entire puck of soap in 15 shaves? Do you leave it soaking in a mug full of hot water and then pour most of the soap down the drain or what?

A puck probably lasts me a year, but its in rotation with 6 others. I typically shave every other day.
And close to a month if used daily in the shower.

I grab 1 or 2 when i see them.

Mostly these days I have great fun using Williams as a base to build upon. For example, Proraso green makes my eyes water during the shave but toned down with Williams is just right for me. Williams scent is mild enough I'm also experimenting adding essential oil. Want to try adding sandalwood oil but, dang, its crazy expensive!

My pucks maybe don't last as long as some because I do soak them in hot water before shave. Not wasted tho, I save the sauce and add it back in as needed while building the lather. Also, I only soak in enough hot water to cover the puck. I like soaking it- gives a mountain of creamy lather easily.

I think very few soaps really need soaking, and Williams certainly does not seem to need it--at least in my experience. Williams lathering simply needs to find the right sweet spot for added water.

Williams last me about 2 or 3 months, 2 months if i used it 5 days à week and about 2 or 2 1/2 months if i use it 7 days à week. To each have there own, to me i get real good results whit Williams.

Just wondering, whats your method??? For me i have to soak it to get good results How do you achevé your lather?
