Default Trader Joe's soap, brush & balm!!

Just looking thru the Trader Joe flyer and noticed they have a soap, brush and balm set for $9.99!!
Soap is made with coconut oil and Shea butter. The brush is wooden handle, soft nylon and the balm is coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, aloe Vera and Shea butter!

Man, for a whopping $9.99 I am going to have to pick it up and check it out. I sent $10 on worse stuff I'm sure. If even the balm is decent, it pays for itself!!

Picked it up today out of curiosity. Brush is a little small but will be a nice travel brush. Never used a nylon brush and was surprised that it is so soft yet pleasantly firm.
The soap is a little weird as its more a " butter " than a lather but provided a smooth, slick shave! Doesn't whip into a lather but does work up a little if you work at it. The scent is very nice sandlewood.
The balm is very nice. Light scent and was very soothing.
Overall, for $10 it was worth trying. Will definitely keep the brush in my travel kit and going to experiment with the soap to see if it lathers a little better with a different brush and scuttle. The balm alone made it worth a try! Liked it a lot!
So, if ya got a spare ten bucks burning a whole in your pocket, give it a try! Ya might be pleasantly surprised!!

I'll try to whip it up in my Dottie shave bowl if it will whip at all it will in that bowl. ....
