Default taylor of old bond street?

I am looking at ordering one or 2 of the shave creams they offer. Ive never tried any of them, and I would like to hear what you might have to say about it. not necessarily the good things. . . but rather the things you maybe werent to impressed with. now I fully understand that everyones skin is different and that all shave techniques differ and that my experience may be totally different than someone elses, but if you could humor me, Id like to hear what you got.

TOBS coconut was the cream I bought when I started using a straight razor. It tended to dry out on me but that improved when my shave time shortened and I learned to use more water. The only thing I really didn't like about it was that it smelled like sun tan lotion.

Jermyn street is a minimum must in my den and will the last I ever give up I think.
But I do like all the TOBS scents
You can't go wrong with them
I got a sample pack from Magards I think it was a while back to try them all

Yes, I do like the Jermyn Street shave cream and also the puck version as well. Nice fairly strong masculine cologne scent and makes a very decent lather. Good stuff in my book.

    I do like TOBS too.
I prefer the creams over their hard soaps, but YMMV. The soaps tend to dry out quick.
I thin ktheir creams are top notch.

I like most of their scents, bur definately prefer Rose, Lavender, Sandelwood, Jermyn Street, Eton college, and St. James.
Not to keen on the sweet scents (apart from the rose :-)) .
I never triede coconut or Avocado. It just never appealed to me.

getting a sample pack is a great way to discover what you like without stocking up for a lifetime of creams you might not like.

I like TOBS Sandalwood. A very pleasant scent.

I have tried the Lemon and Lime, Peppermint, and Grapefruit. I really like the Lemon and Lime the best, but the Grapefruit is very good too. TOBS is an absolute great value.

In my opinion, it's not easy to find a TOBS product that isn't impressive. When you consider the amount of products they make and the variety
they offer, TOBS might be the most consistent company out there.

thank you all for your responses. I think my first buy will be the peppermint. i was eyeing it from the moment i saw it and with so many good words about their product as a whole, I feel like I cant go wrong.
