Okay! So I got a tub of the Blu. It’s up for tomorrow’s shave. Does the scent change during or after lathering? Just smelling the puck, the scent doesn’t do much for me. My nose says bland chocolate cake with a hint of cinnamon. LolQuote:

I prefer more punch in my scent but with the strength level it has, it will not clash with any aftershave or cologne. And that in itself is a strength. you know....I'm glad this forum and, specifically, this thread is still alive and well.
I started my wet shaving journey years ago with MDC and Castle Forbes (on advice from gentlemen on this forum). I've used near 100 other soaps and creams since, and I have come full circle back to MDC and CF. Honestly, the advice I got way back when was truly outstanding.
I still like a bit of variety and use Meissner Dark Limes and their lavender .....and DR Harris sandalwood just because I love the scent. I've tried many of the "artisans" and while some are very good they do not outperform the kings...MDC and CF.
