    Default Chiseled Face -Midnight Stag

Hey guys and I greet you after months of an hiatus with a question regarding the brand: Chiseled Face. The hiatus was likely secondary to my consistent love of Tabac (im finding the need now to diversify) and increased familiarity with an SR, but I am back

Butttt now for the bread and butter:

I would like to hear anyones thoughts on the Midnight Stag line of Chiseled face, I bought the shaving soap, body wash, and AS. I didn't buy the sampler and maybe I should have

If anyone has tried tabac and midnight stag, which do you like better? Are they similar?

    Thanks,
    -David

It's not even close to being on Tabacs level, it's just another mundane, run of the mill soap that's ok. Tc

I am a fan of the Midnight Stag aftershave but do not have the soap.

that's odd, because around 90%+ of reviews love it, I just haven't seen too much mention of it on SRP

This restores hope, how long would you say the smell last. How about the sillage?

I think that it lasts quite a while, probably more than an hour. Not sure about the sillage - never had anyone comment.

You can surely do worse than Chiseled Face. I got the Midnight Stag sample soap and really like it for occasional use, (same for Ghost Town Barber). I have to use it when my wife won't be around to smell me because she's not a big fan, but I enjoy it. I can really pick out the Hoppes No. 9, it's what my dad and I use to clean and lubricate gun parts and barrels.

Needless to say, I enjoy Tabac more. Tcrideshd hit it right on the nail when he stated Midnight Stag smells too "run of the mill". I could just be soo in love with Tabac that I MAY never waver to another soap. Tabac smells like an art form and is slick as oil
