My good friend Pete, sent me a couple of soap samples this week out of the blue(thanks Pete) so I thought I Would give my thoughts.
Soap scent is so personal I,m not really going to get into the smell much.
The soaps were , Haslingers, I believe Weed is what Pete wrote on the package the other was Acca Kappa Muschio Bianco, by the way Pete must have heard me say that I,m not a fan of almond so this is what he sent, but like I said scent is personal this is only about the quality of the soap.

Haslingers; 12 swirls on a damp badger, then I started palm lathering as I do with all new soaps to get a feel for it. It did not take long to get a lather, then kept adding drops of water as I mixed. This stuff just keeps getting bigger and denser, the glide between my fingers was super slick. I then let it rest, same thing it just got better.
On to the face, lathered my whole face and let it sit again, it didn't dry out n the 3-4 minutes. Washed it off and did it again then shaved. It performed in the top tier! This stuff is going in my shave den. My face felt very smooth the rest of the day.

Acca Kappa; what can I Say, thebigspendur was right on all counts for this soap, it is an MDC ranked soap, it will not take as much water as the Haslingers before breaking down, glide top notch, hydrating abilities great! I can't say that I'll kick MDC Out the door because I still like he scents better, but the soap is in the same tier, quite an eye opener, but then again Bobh has said this about Haslingers, both of these soaps have a clean smell, both different but very subtle and pure freshness if that's a proper term( I,m not Obie with words my tools are hammers). Any way for those looking for 2 great soaps these will please. Tc
