Holy Jesus Mike! That looks like something Henry VIII would use. Very nice!

It was a birthday present to myself. Took it from the wilds too.

That is just outstanding! Really a nice piece. Can't get over the ornate work on this.
One pass with a straight so no need to keep it warm. Even when I was using a DE or cartridge I never felt the need to keep my lather warm.
Guess you could keep the brush in your pit or groin between passes.
I have a Dirtybird 1.5 shave scuttle similar to the Georgetown in terms of function but more rustic in appearance.
I tend not to use it in summer though. Truth be told I used to use it a lot more when I used shaving creams, but I almost exclusively use soap now. I tend to start the lather in the bowl on the puck and then finish up on my face. I have considered getting a brush scuttle which is similar to the previously mentioned but much smaller, just big enough to keep your brush and whatever lather is on it warm.
I have one of those, I put samples in it.

You can set it in a sink of hot water to heat, then put it in the gold holder.
I use a large bowl and fill it with hot water. Then float my lather bowl in that - like a bain-marie.
A Georgetown Pottery 20 oz. scuttle keeps my lather perfectly warm.
