I selected seven soaps and creams for my usage, one for each day of the week. Krampert's Finest is my only selection from the USA. Interestingly all of my shaving gear is made in the USA however.

JMercer !! What's with this posting only once a month ?? We Miss Ya Man !!
Too many moving targets these days. Cataract surgery got in the way. I lurk a lot. Thanks for asking Hirlau. ;)
Get better there young man ! :tu
That's a nice list Obie.
I've got to try Xpec and Baum.be
Mine right now is:
MWF
B&M
CRSW
Haslinger
Pre de Provence
I've been debating on whether or not to post here, due to limited experience, but the more the merrier!
D.R. Harris (Windsor)
Stirling (Gin and Tonic & Margaritas in the Arctic)
Fine (American Blend & Snakebite)
MWF
Catie's Bubbles (Tactical Support)
I really need to try a few more of the top tier soaps but I don't feel like my list is a terrible sampling.
Once I had a soap from the Sterling Company. It was nice:
The Windsor aftershave is superb as well. The orange/citrus scent is more noticeable in the lotion than in the soap.
This is why i read these threads. To find my next purchase. Baum.be is enroute. Look forward to trying it !
I love European soaps and creams.
I just received a tub of Alvarez Gomez Barbaria yesterday and used it this morning. I love the scent and the lather was really nice. I get the love and look forward to using again. I also got samples of all three Castle Forbes creams in the same shipment. I'm looking forward to trying them out this week to see what all the fuss is about.
The "Fuss" is rightfully earned for Castle Forbes!
Demetrius I believe that you will be very happy with the Castle Forbes
I tried out the Lime this morning. I little almond sized piece smeared on the top of my brush and face lathered produced enough rich, thick, slick lather to last for at least two passes beyond the three that I did.
I do see what the fuss is all about. Tomorrow, Lavender.
Doug, glad to hear you liked it so much.
I find not only the lather/slickness is great, but the scent is just right. Not too strong and very enjoyable.
This reminds me that it has been far too long since I had any CF Lime or Lavender-lovely stuff it is!
I tried the CF Lavender this morning. If anything, I may like this even more than the Lime. The performance was just as top notch, and the scent was absolutely perfect. But then, I really like lavender scents. Topped off with Fine Lavender pour Homme, it was a perfect shave.
Tomorrow: CF Cedar and Sandalwood.
I'm going to be strict with my reply, and list not five manufacturers, but five specific products. They are:
- QED Anise & Lavender
- QED Wild Rose
- QED Sandalwood
- QED Vetiver
- CF Cedarwood and Sandalwood
Sadly, the first three are no longer in production, while the fourth was a one-time, special group-buy (elsewhere on the 'Net). All of them pair-up with a wide variety of complementary ASBs and afterscents.
Man, that's a tragedy, finding a product you like and it's no longer available.
