Default Razor MD Shave Cream Review

I got my hands on Razor MD shaving cream at my local barbershop in Dubai.
Their website claims that they are an artisan mens grooming products company in florida that uses "all natural ingredients, using NO Parabens, NO Harsh Chemicals and NO Toxins".

I didnt find a trusty review on SRP so i thought what the heck.... It wasnt too pricey at around 15 usd for a jar. Used it this morning, with my koraat 8/8 (shave no. 4) and im still trying to figure out whether i like it.

For starters - it doesnt lather. I loaded the cream on my silvertip and tried to lather for almost 3 minutes before i realized that its only thinning out. So rather than a lathering cream, its like a slickening cream. So i ditched the brush and used my fingers to spread the cream on my face, using a few drops water to further slicken it. It did shave quite well, provided excellent glide and cushion. The scent was very mild, almost non existent. And it remained slick till almost 15 minutes after which I had to add some more water to slicken it further when i was shaving the tricky chin/lip area.

Verdict.... for most of us who enjoy lathering with a brush as a ritual, this cream might never become part of the rotation. But it is a surprisingly good option to have either for a quick emergency 'brushless' shave or during travel if you dont fancy carrying a brush!

The giveaway is in the instructions. When it says it may be applied by brush or your fingers it usually means it is a brushless cream that won't lather worth a, insert expletive. I have bought a few like that myself. Most will not produce a good lather with a brush.
