    Default Asylum Royal Fougere

I have too many top tier soaps and creams to be surprised by the performance of a new artisan soap. However, I just experienced one of those "Ah Ha" moments when I lathered this soap for the first time. I've been holding off on purchasing new soaps, but after reading that the scent was developed with the combination of Trumper Wild Fern and Penhaligon's English Fern in mind, I couldn't resist. I'm a sucker for fougère scents, and enjoy many, but this fougère is truly amazing, and is reminiscent of YSL Rive Gauche. The performance of this soap is outstanding. It uses the WSP Formula T (tallow) soap base, which I now consider to be right up there with the best of them. It literally explodes into a rich, thick, creamy lather with almost no effort, and one couldn't ask for more slickness or post shave moisturizing feel. What I though was going to be a trial of possibly another tier two artisan soap, suddenly soared into my top five list.

I see my mistake. You are a few latitudes south of me and that might create problems with the soap,,,,,,,,
