That will last a while!!!
Is that for a lather machine?
I have not seen those flavours either. I’m intrigued.
It seems to have a big threaded cap on it.
Am thinking of how to buy it, split it up, and send some to folks I know.
Big syringes? that would go over big in Customs...
I'm sure syringes would be fine, Tom. Just don't fill in the return address.
Azur Lime.....What have I DONE?

:D
With all the crap that passes unnoticed through our borders syringes full of shaving cream should get passed the dogs and the inspectors without a hiccup.
:-)
Very, very cool, thanks for the post.
Thinking with that cap, may be for a hot lather machine....now that would be fun....now to find the machine...:D
I am tempted for sure, as I do like the Proraso White, that is my go to shave soap, not cheap as Proraso goes granted, maybe the packaging is more eco friendly being in a pouch like that, rather than for a lather machine, also as its more expensive I suppose they needed to package if differently from their mainline products.
The Single Blade creams are used the same as the regular Red, Green, etc. Apply the cream to a warm, wet brush and lather. The difference with the Single Blade line is the new scents and large quantity.
Proraso PRO | Shaving cream
Been craving the lime stuff since the weather turned colder. Lol, go figure, summer scents in the winter...
Interesting - the Proraso site says the new line is released for "Professional Barber's"....
Proraso PRO | Single Blade
Guess that explains the large size, also stumbled on a Proraso White shaving cream, the old traditional stuff, but in similar large packaging for saying for Professional Barber's....guess this stuff is more targeted at the increasing amount of "luxury" barber shops that have been springing up.
Ah, you are all wrong. It is for IV use for those who are critically low in their Proraso levels.
Bob
Now THAT makes sense, Bob! :rofl2:
So the Azur Lime AS balm came in. Gave it a rub....Very nice stuff!
Cannot wait for the shaving cream to arrive!

Not good with eloquent descriptions as Phrank is....
Their description on the box is spot-on, IMO

That was pretty fast, Tom.
I ordered the cypress and vetiver as well as the wood and spice, I’m betting mine are two weeks, coming from Ontario.
Let us know how the products perform, gents. I'm curious about how the scents will smell to real people.
I have a Bald Cypress tree in my yard. The wood doesn't have much of a scent that I can discern. I wonder if it's the same family of cypress.
There is a cypress that grows here that is commonly known as yellow cedar. I am wondering if it will smell like that. If it does I will be very happy with that. The yellow cedar smells nothing like the red cedar.
I am certain they will be nice. I have the red and green Proraso in the tubs.
The scents are nice, IMO. Not overpowering. I really dig the red.
I think it is the tough beard formula?
About out of my mainstay, the green AS. Great hot-weather AS.
Fades and goes in the humidity here. I dislike the ones which stay all day.
Anyhoo, I am hoping this will be a nice purchase.
Maximum glide sounds good as well.
I don't expect much from the 9.5 ounce 'IV bag'. but expect it to be heavy-duty and full of goodness.
This AS says it's regenerating and nourishing! :D
Wee shall see!The packaging (box) is wonderful on the AS.
An actual 'wax seal' of the lion on the top.
All the printing is dimensional. You can feel it.
The bottle is sweet. Heavy, all-encompassing glass around the white balm. Extraordinary, IMO.

Anyway, so far it feels nice. The mint seems to wake-up the lime.
The sort of thing you could use when you did not shave at all!
I keep smelling my hand! :rofl2:
Here! Phrank would dig this! :D
"The quick-absorbing formula regenerates the skin after the mechanical action of the razor, helping the skin to regain its hydrolipidic balance. The active hydrants and nutrients make the skin more elastic, smoother and softer, diminishing any tension, irritation or dryness. The skin becomes more even, compact and less shiny. The perfume has been proportioned to leave an enjoyable nuance that lasts without being invasive. Cologne can be used after the balm to strengthen the aroma."
It's winter time, so I'm rocking the Nivea cream, if I don't use lots of heavy duty Nivea, I turn into a dried up pile of leaves, or end up having skin of a dried up cadaver...so dry right now, I can hang my brush up and it'll be pretty much bone dry 3 hours later....
But it does look good, and of course, something else to try....thanks for the info, it does look good.
Oh, I was referring to the descriptors, Phrank! :D
Must be dry up there. Humid down here! No more t-shirts under the shirt.
Drug a fan up in the shop. AC kicked-on in the office.
Humid and in the 70's.
Summer more than winter here. IF we have winter, it is in January.
I got the heater down, just in case.
I just got some Wood and Spice balm from a friend. The scent is great, and the face feel is just like the other Proraso balms.
Well, the shaving cream arrived to-day.
Looks like a Christmas Day Proraso Azur Lime shave is coming on SOTD!
So my shave went swimmingly. The lather was applied to a damp- brush. Face-lathered.
A half-almond-size was squeezed onto the brush and swirling commenced.
A bit of dipping the tips a few times. Great application.
AWESOME glide.
Drying of the lather was no issue. The Azur Lime scent was great and 3 passes were handled easily. The old wedge blade which was honed 3 years ago and (shaved/stropped at Christmas only since) shaved better than ever. The glide is there. No doubt! Wonderful shave!
The AS balm is nice.
Just a bit and will do wonders for the skin, IMO. Stays-with a while. Very, very nice, IMO.
Great purchase and decision. Would definitely do it again~!
I'm making a list of creams to get my nephew who is about to start shaving. I figure to get him a brush and cream to use with one of those cartridge razors. Is Red the favorite of the Proraso creams that come in the roll tubes?
The red or the green in the tub are great, IMO.
TBH, on this, 50 bucks and under for the pair of single-blade Azure lime was money well-spent. Long-lasting quality.
I am of the opinion that Proraso products are a valuable addition. JMO
Just got a (bag?) of Proraso azure lime today. Interesting packaging choice to be sure... Good quality shave with it today. Overall I think it's a bit more pricey than I like to see my creams come in at, but it's a good product. No complaints.
Cypress and vetiver for me today. The scent is what I was hoping for, however it’s still pretty nice. I will go for the wood and spice tomorrow.
This week I am shaving all week with the wood and spice. There is a common scent between that and the cypress and vetiver. I have not yet put my finger on it. It is strong to start and dissipates fast. I like this family of scent and the soap is all that you would expect from the brand. The packaging is fairly clever.
It looks too much like an enema bag to me, although I am tempted to try wood and spice.
JMO, these products seem a step-up from the ones I am used-to where Proraso is concerned.
Much more quality involved.
Does anyone know if Proraso sells a dispenser for this that isnt the huge 1kg one? I've seen somewhere (though for the life of me I cannot find where) that they had a smaller offering. Has anyone come across this? Would love to get a more presentable way to have this cream out on my counter that isn't just a floppy bag
With all this praise for these new creams, I ordered one travel size tube (100ml) of each scent from Greece. Less than $40 shipped to the US (6.0 euros per tube). The 275mg tubes are more cost efficient than the travel tubes, but with all the soaps and creams that I have, I'll never get through these smaller tubes. However, I'm looking forward to an "improved" Proraso and the new scents.
I would expect that you could use a hand cream type dispenser.
Just ordered Azur Lime! Proraso has always been my baseline/standard to compare others to. If it falls below, no again. If it is as good or better, maybe again! One thing I have to really say about Proraso is that it will perform in all waters, hard-soft. It's my travel shave cream.
