Default Two New Noble Otter Soaps

I recently acquired the two new Noble Otter soaps, Orbit and Plunder.
They were both released earlier this month.

Orbit : Eucalyptus, Rose and Frozen Space...which is a synthetic coolant.
This has a light and a somewhat flowery scent that is really nice.
Where it shines is the cooling effect. Makes my face feel like it has a very thin layer of ice on it which lasts longer than any menthol soap I've ever tried. It's great on a hot muggy morning.

Plunder : Bay, Grog, Spice, Rose, Lime, Grapefruit, Vetiver and Cannon Smoke.
Spicy complex bay rum scent with a hefty dose of Cannon Smoke.
Makes me feel like I'm on a Pirate Ship with Cannons Blazing. I really like this combo.

Of course they both have the stellar Noble Otter performance that I have come to know and love.
Great lather, slickness, cushion and glide. Fantastic face feel afterwards.
At the top of my tier one for sure.

    Hope all will enjoy.

I will put those at the top of my list, Pete! I just shaved with Noir Et Vanille, and am slowly working my way through some other NO samples. With some soaps you get performance but no scent; with others, you get scent, but no performance. With NO, you get both in spades-their scents are just haunting to me. These will be in my next sample order.

    Hey Pete.

I was at the Maggard Meet-up where the tow soaps were released to the public. I wanted to purchase one of the NO soaps, but wanted to sniff them before deciding. I was a little leery of the Orbit due to the "Frozen Space". I was afraid it contained menthol, which my skin does not like. However, Cody confirmed that it had no menthol but another cooling agent. I like the scent, so I purchase a tub. It does cause some minor irritation to my sensitive skin, but not enough to prevent me from using the soap.

From the scent notes on the Plunder, I thought I would like it. I am normally a fan of bay rum scents as long as they do not contain too much clove. However, the "cannon smoke" was a little strong for my liking, so I skipped that one.

However, do not fear, between full tubs purchased and a few free samples, I added over 10 new soaps to my den. My goal is to outlive my soap collection.

My goal is to outlive my soap collection.Exactly this, Ray! I was gonna try to order some NO samples from Maggard's, but I guess so was everyone else, because all of my usual online outlets WestCoast Shaving, etc., are out of stock-I'll just have to be patient. Personally, I like strong scents and a nice face freeze.

If I didn't live so far away, I'd love to go to one of the Maggard meetups-I wish we had a shop like that literally anywhere in the Southeast-I am not aware of any.

That's a real crap shoot here, even if I stop buying it I don't think it's going to happen.

Aaron, the Noir Et Vanille is unbelievable!

Yep, and The Trail and Nectar Amissa are also both just intoxicating.
