I stumbled over this large plastic container of Clubman Pinaud Classic Barber Shave Cream I'd purchased a couple of years ago when they also released a few other products.

When I first tried this stuff, I was immensely let down, as it wouldn't produce any lather AT ALL! :-)

Lo and behold I discovered through a conversation with Val of the Gentleman's Den, that this was in fact a BRUSHLESS SHAVE CREAM!!!!!

So I grabbed it about a week ago - broke out an old Schick Adjustable Injector and gave it a whirl, expecting it to be disastrous and result in a terrible shave.

How wrong I was - it was an excellent shave, close, the Clubman Pinaud Barber's Cream left my skin uber soft afterwards, beautiful Clubman aroma, and it was an absolute BBS Shave.

Needless to say, would it stand as well with a straight razor? Absolutely, equally as nice with either.

Just what I need, a fatal dose of a variant of SAD - the brushless, non-lathering type of shaving soaps to now pursue.
