    Default Sensitive Soaps / Creams

I have recently realised that my facial skin is sensitive. I think that most lathers left to sit on my face will cause irritation. Stupidly enough i had thought that sensitive shave products were for people who suffered from razor rash/burn ..doh.

I am also wondering what is causing the itching sensation, maybe a particular acid.. I will do a test tonight with MDC, i know they use minimal ingredients ..See if i can get irritated.

I do have one sensitive cream made by Esbjerg, i'm sure i've seen more over the years. Are there any recommendations?

    Thanks.

Might be worth trying Nivea Sensitive cream, easily available and not expensive.

The only one I had a problem with was TOBS Sandalwood, it stings when I use it.

Baume Be, T&H ultimate comfort, Mitchell's wool fat, TOBS organic, Saponificio Varesino soaps are a safe bet, loads of brands cater for sensitive skin, sometimes theres no rhythm or reason why a certain ingredient will set someones skin off.
Also check out Obies recommendations for sensitive skin, he has tried more soaps and creams than you can shake a stick at.

I have all of those apart from the wool fat & Tobs organic... I am trying to stay away from animal fat also . I am a vegetarian so i might as well try n go the whole hog

I will soon to be stocking up on the Abbate y La Mantia, they should be good and totally organic.. I didnt see Obies sensitive soaps section, i will have a scan..
    Cheers Mark.

You might want to give The Body Shop's Maca Root with Aloe shave cream a try as it is touted to be all organic. It is really one good shave cream regardless.
