Just a reminder...that B&B is doing a Rose with QED.
whats b&b?
I say lets go Tea Tree.... no such beast is available anywhere since Coates packed it in as far as I know.
Kaptain "Tea Treeless" Zero
I'm allergic to Tea Tree oil so I wouldn't go anywhere near that stuff.
I guess I don't get it guys...
This is "Soap" and essential oil. Maybe it is just a something to do as a group. $50+ for soap? I thought group buy were for great value. ..
Good luck guys. I'm out . I consider the price point way less for glycerin soap. I wish all buyers the best. MikeB
I'd vote Snadelwood....where is it?
Just kidding.
I'd love Sandalwood Vetiver but the price has to be good as well. If it's no good I'll simply mail Mammabear and ask her to whip something up.
I agree with squarepoint on the price thing.
I don't think we should ruin Charles' Sandalwood scent by mixing it with any other EO. His Sandalwood is the best smell of all the Sandalwood products... why dilute it and change it up?
Tea Tree all the way for me.
I agree to some extent about a group buy except for the perception of Value. Value does not need to be cheap it also includes Quality, something special, something you would not be able to get other ways. Like the rose EO Soap. I would not pay $75 for it that is me not that it is not worth it. That is why no one makes a Rose EO. The only Rose EO that is used in cosmetics is in some very High End Perfumes costing Hundreds of Dollars. So if you spent $75 on that soap it would be something very special that you could not get anywhere. Pure Rose EO goes for well over $300 oz. And When Charles makes a soap it will not be week. That is just my 2 cents:)
I'd be interested in tea tree for its healing properties but doesn't it have a reputation for smelling a bit unpleasant? I'd hate to think I'm voting for a soap that will smell like a wet bag of asses, but the couple QED soaps I have smell great so I'm willing to take a leap of faith.
This ends Monday lets see those votes. Come on Tea Tree Guys I think it is time to break out the dirty politics and start talkin trash about those Snadalwood/Veviter Guys How is that LX
More TEA TREE!!!
Then I could just use my OZ powers and change the count:roflmao :roflmao :roflmao
Man I should not of said that if TT wins somebody will think I really did it:nono:
Hi there,
Not to hijack the thread, but I have a possible answer to that question. It might be that the author made a bit of a typo and might actually have meant to say it smells like a wet "ass bag", which is what the horses in large cities are forced to wear while pulling a carriage around town.
What's even 'tackier' than the smell are the decal advertisements for dog food stuck to the bag!
Hope that helps, and once again, my apologies if I was mistaken. Just trying to clear the air, so to speak.
Martin
COME ON PEEPS........
TEA TREE.....
Those of you that havent had the pleasure of using Coates Tea Tree.....this will be a good....NO WAIT....a great alternative
I think I am allergic to Tea Tree... And developed an aversion to Sandalwood from Caswell-Massey...
Good luck to all - I hope you love the soap
Cheers
Ivo
I'm in for whatever wins. I learn alot about the fragrances from you guys every day.

I think Taz wants Tea Tree. Am I wrong on this? Just an observation.
I think more people should vote for the tea tree it would help bring the world together and fight global warming and bring the troops home and improve the economy and give everybody healthcare besides I understand its what Obama uses.

Sparks, Nevada Police report last night Homer La Fong Died while shaving with his straight razor. His wife reported he was using his Iwasaki Razor and while shaving his neck it just seemed to have a mind of its own and came to life and cut his throat. Subsequent investigation revealed the razor belonged to Toshiro Kawasaki a WWll Kamakazee pilot who was killed when his plane slammed into the USS Yorktown. His last act was to shave with that razor. It is suspected the razor is haunted.
nah he just used tea tree.....;)
Sandalwood/Vetiver men of integrity would not stoop to such underhanded methods as politicking :w
Indeed, Classy Snadelwood Vetiver people (I'm seriously going to call it Snaldelwood from now on simply because I like the sound more) would NEVER go so low as to start a mudflinging contest :nono: :D :roflmao
On the upside....seems the Snadelwood is winning.:y
