Default Sensative skin soap suggestions please ?

First up sorry this is going to be a long post

    The short version :
Does anyone have any suggestions for some hard soaps that are really kind on the face ?

    The background :
I'm not someone who has lots of soaps ie I usually have just one. My last 3 pucks have been a GFT Sandlewood followed by Coconut. These have lasted me over 3 years so far, prior to that I had a puck of Williams soap and prior to that I was using a Sensor excel and canned goo.

Now I've got a patch of skin under my lower lip at the left corner of my mouth about the size of a penny which gets red, scaley (sp?) and is more prone to blackheads and spots the docs say it is some kind of dermatitis or eczema and it is reduced slightly by hydrocortizone cream. Interestingly I believe that this patch of skin started playing up about the time I switched from the canned goo and Sensor excel.

Recently I thought I'd try making some Uberlather so got some cream, some GFT "GFT" (can you tell I like GFT yet ). This cream is highly scented and I thought my face might react badly but it didn't, and for the last week I've actually just been using the cream as an experiment. The result is my red patch appears to be less red and scaley, this is a good thing - trouble is I prefer my triple milled soap that lasts an age, I don't think this cream would last more than a month.

    Thnaks

The 2 that I am still using because they gave such good results ,are1 ,Proraso Ultra sensitive soap with aloe vera 2 Edwin Jaggers sensitive aloe vera Puck.
The proraso seems to have the edge over the Jagger & both of these give me good results with no irritation. But they both seem to lather better after they've been usrd for a while .I got these from the gentlemans shop In Hungerford.

    hope this helps.Paul

Yeah I ordered some musgo real last week when the GFT cream appeared to help but its not showed up yet
I ordered it at the same time as a GP scuttle which arrived yesterday 1 week after ordering and they had to confirm, on Monday, I was ok paying extra for the international shipping since the online store doesn't calculate that properly.

Don't waste your time with Crabtree & Evelyn's natural shaving creme.

I just tried it and it's practically impossible to get a lather. at least with a synthetic brush.

Just curious but does it have to be a soap as I have a few good creams I could recommend.
