Pre-shave creams & oils
Well today I tried something different. One side of my face was prepped as usual and the other side had the addition of of a "Skin Milk" cream applied on top of the lather and worked in.
Man, did that make a difference! The "Skin Milk" side shaved much easier and closer!
Perhaps the preshave oil thing has something going for it?
Of course, I bought the stuff at a garage sale, but so what, it works!

Bill Leppler was over to the house Sunday and he told me that the Skin Milk does wonders after the shave for sensitive skin as well.

Skin Milk?
What is Skin Milk, and where is it sold?
Chaaaz - who wants it all

Hello Chaaaz,
Looking at my jar of Skin Milk now, it reads "Skin Milk", Body cream moisturize,
made by Naterra International Inc, Dallas TX 75234 1-800-433-6392
Its a big 1 lb jar. Should last a lifetime
Hope this helps,

PRE-shave ....
Thanks, Randy!
I just posted on another forum topic about what I discoverd .... I normally use the Prorasso pre-shave cream. I also have a tube of the Cremo Cream Shaving Cream which is amazingly slick! I tried using that as an underlayer/pre-shave cream, and lemme tell ya - it was a revelation!
The Cremo Cream is the slickest I have found, providing maximum glide for the blade; it works great to enhance and enrichn the lather when the Classic soaps are applied right on top of it! The very best of BOTH worlds! Superb conditioning and slippery pre-shave, and awesome Classic soap combine for one absolutely amazing shaving experience!

I really like the Proraso pre-post shave cream. I usually rub a bit on after shaving. Great stuff. Has anyone tried any of the Feather products? I was thinking of trying the Herbal Aftershave balm or the Herbal preshave condtioner?

I use a pre-shave oil occasionally and find a difference with some soaps lathered on afterwards. I have also found that if I take a shave cream and put it on with my fingers without lathering and then lather as usual with a different soap or the same shave cream that makes a positive difference too.

What brands of pre-shaves have you guys tried and what did you think of the results. Anyone get the slippery razor syndrome? Lynn

Lynn,
Not sure. What's the 'slippery razor syndrome'? I've suffered from the "buying razor syndrome." Fortunately the symptoms abated before my credit card succumbed. :? lol...

As I have said before I use the Proraso and thanks to Chaaz the creamo cream. He is right when used under the classic soap it produces one slick shave.
