Thread: Glycerin bottle question

Quick question for those gents who use glycerin in the uber lather (or regular) lather making routine. The bottle of glycerin I bought just has a regular screw top, with no way of getting just a few drops out at a time. What do you all use to get just a few drops into your mixing bowl/scuttle?

Mine has the dropper hole, but in your case I would just use some of those plastic coffee stir sticks, put stick in bottle, put finger over hole, takes out a few drops at a time.... Or change containers....

Thanks, Glen - as always, much appreciated. I'll see if I can dig out a lid for the bottle, or if I can buy a small bottle with a dropper hole top at the dollar store (although most I've found come not with the dropper hole top, but that tilt lid thing like with shampoo bottles).

I use a bottle from food coloring (well washed out, of course). Its small, has flexible sides and a dropper-top.

I use a clear plastic lotion dispenser that was filled with the glycerin and has a metal cap on it with the dispenser you press down. Dispenses a lot if you do a full shot on it, so you just have to make sure you only use a little.
