Thread: The atom bomb homemade

I just wanted to show a few pictures of my new soap. I have been experimenting with soapmaking for quite awhile. I finally came up with a formula that I think is good. This soap makes tons of lather (more than C. O. Bigelow/Proraso) and leaves my sensitive skin feeling good all day. I have had success on the lather formation for some time but conditioning was less than satisfactory. This formula contains a great blend of moisturizers to make my skin hydrated and fresh. I have also added essential oils known to prevent skin cancer in addition to providing a great scent. I am pretty happy with this formula but I will continue to improve it. You can see in the last picture why I call it the atom bomb. There is no glycerin added to build the lather and it is not uberlather. When I am done shaving, I have to milk the soap out of the brush. Also, I forgot to take a picture of the bowl at the end, it still had more than half of the soap unused ;-). I hope that you like the pictures.
