    Default Truefitt & Hill Sampler

I started Str8 shaving with soap but wanted to try a cream to compare so I had to get some supplies and while shopping at Truefitt & Hill I picked up their sampler for $9 bucks. They arrived today and I must say they are great to take a long for travel, perfect size. Anyway I just put a little dab of cream in the bowl and whipped it up. It took much less time than soap. The lather was pretty thick yet silky smooth. Nice. I was very impressed with the quality considering the only shave cream I ever seen was from a Barbosol can. Major difference.
So comparing soap to cream I suppose I like both and will alternate as the mood dictates. Now that I have a good feel for the str8 razor I will start sampling quality soaps and creams.
Incase anyone wants to know for the $9 bucks you get: 7 different creams, 5 different balms, and 1 comfort preshave oil.
You can probably get 3-4 shaves out of each sample.

variety is the spice of life. While soaps have a preference for me, I always use a cream or two during the week. Good stuff. Thanks for letting us know. I hadn't tried any of their creams...

I concur. I do use what strikes my fancy. I use only one source for my soaps, TGQ. I like the T&H creams. I also like the Lavanda I purchased from Leon.
