I am at the end of a small puck of Col Conks Bay Rum and am really wondering if I want to spend $20 on 4 more pucks or put it into making my own shave soap. I saw Jockys' post (Thanks Bud!) and am wondering if anyone has had experience with making a Bay Rum shaving soap?
Looking at this place"
Soap & Toiletry Bases | Melt and Pour Glycerin | Shredded Soap Base for Rebatching | The Ponte Vedra Soap Shoppe, pvsoap.com
If you scrol down, you can see "Specialty Soap Bases" and they have a shaving soap. They also have Bay Rum fragrance oil
Fragrance Oils for Soap and Toiletry Making
So, I figured, get this, or get the big 5lb Shea Butter Jockys was talking about and add more glycerin (amount per pound anyone?) + bay Rum scent.
I love the Col soap fragrance, but it does not last.
Thoughts anyone?
Thanks!
