    Talking IT CAME!

I finally got my Mitchell's Wool Fat in the post!!!! (not that it took long, Royalshave.com got it here within a few days) The SAD part about it (pun intended) is that I shaved this morning! so I'll have to wait until friday to use it!!! So I reckon I'll be back on Friday to let everyone know my (hopefully) wonderful experience!

Once you get the lathering technique down pat you most definitely will not be disappointed. You have to experiment with MWF to find what will work for you, as most will try to lather it like they do with their other soaps and may be disappointed. But if you read a few MWF threads there are some great tips, and you should do fine with it right from the start. Remember to load your brush a bit more than you would with other soaps, and you may have to use a bit more water too. It's a thirsty soap, but a great one. Enjoy!

I love MWF!!! After wetshaving for 2 years I will say that it will be my only soap from now on. If you think Mantic59 in that video got great lather, I get even better lather than that with harder water!

Mine just came in the mail yesterday and I shaved with it this morning. Maybe I'm just lucky but I find my usual lathering technique works fine with it! I have never had so much lather generate with any of my soaps or vreams! It was just amazing! (the only downside is that it came in a wooden case, not the brand bowl...but that can be had later!)

I've actually had the same experience. I don't need to do any fancy, out of the ordinary upside down lathering techniques to get great lather from MWF. Which is surprising, as Alberta has the reputation for having fairly hard water. My usual technique seems to suffice, although this soap does seem to take a little extra water that others (yet doesn't break down).
