Ok I'm not sure if this was done or not. I just wanted to see what you guys like better soaps or creams.

You forgot both at the same time.:p
Just the basics :)
i find it easier and more rewarding to get a thick lather from soap. too bad there isn't a vote for uberlather!
I tried to edit it and it won't let me if a mod is around can you please edit the poll to include uberlether thanks
Soap all the way. I get sad when I run out of cream so quicky. Haha. I might try both at the same time. Allegedly, my barber at Truefitt claims that creams are more 'luxurious' — personally I haven't noticed a difference. Although some of the Trumpers creams smell a little stronger than the soap equivalent.
I voted for soap, but I do like them both. I find that my favorite creams are the hard "soap-like" type like Castle Forbes and Fitjar. The performance of those is as good as any soap I've used.
I chose soaps. This would include "soft soaps" (cella)
I like both and I use both. Why limit yourself when there's so much great stuff out there? :)
I personally like both, if it's good it's good. I use soaps most of the time, because in the house I have the space and don't mind loading the brush. However...
The utilitarian value of a cream is superior to the soaps in one respect: transportability. The dopp kit can be easier without a brush and puck of soap. For this, of course, I don't bother with an open razor, either. I like the creams because I can put as much as I want into an empty lip balm (kifflam!) container and apply with fingertips.
Like many of the others, I have both creams and soaps in my rotation.
Martin de Candre, MWF, Castle Forbes, T&H, Domenico Caraceni to name a few.
All stellar products!
Cream or soap is not the question anymore, for me.
A quality product of either type will do just fine:)
Good Soaps and good creams always perform well. I can not choose one over the other.
Pabster
Ok then what should I get from T&H soap or cream I can't decide I also like both but can't afford to get both. My RAD made me broke.
I always use both... life is too short to only use one
So to then the Q is to get more str8 or soan and cream combo can't get both wife will kill me
That's easy. Soap. It will last longer for the money. You're paying more money, cents-per-shave, for something that is more hydrated and slightly different formulation for texture/consistency. As long as you have a good brush and learn solid brush loading and lathering (bowl or face) soaps will perform. And you get to savor the anticipation more.
I've been doing both at the same time. 2/3 soap.
Soap it is
I try a cream and think it's great then find myself going right back to my Proraso Aloe & Green Tea.
