Ok I'm not sure if this was done or not. I just wanted to see what you guys like better soaps or creams.

Soap all the way. I get sad when I run out of cream so quicky. Haha. I might try both at the same time. Allegedly, my barber at Truefitt claims that creams are more 'luxurious' — personally I haven't noticed a difference. Although some of the Trumpers creams smell a little stronger than the soap equivalent.

I voted for soap, but I do like them both. I find that my favorite creams are the hard "soap-like" type like Castle Forbes and Fitjar. The performance of those is as good as any soap I've used.

I chose soaps. This would include "soft soaps" (cella)

I like both and I use both. Why limit yourself when there's so much great stuff out there?

I personally like both, if it's good it's good. I use soaps most of the time, because in the house I have the space and don't mind loading the brush. However...
The utilitarian value of a cream is superior to the soaps in one respect: transportability. The dopp kit can be easier without a brush and puck of soap. For this, of course, I don't bother with an open razor, either. I like the creams because I can put as much as I want into an empty lip balm (kifflam!) container and apply with fingertips.
