Who Says Williams Won't Lather!?
It had been quite a while since I played with Williams, the true, no kidding, old school American soap. So I decided to swing by the store and picked up a puck for $1.60. When I got home, I took out my cheese grater, grated the entire puck, and pressed the shavings into a small metal bowl. Now, once you do this, some water and smoothing is required on the shavings so I figured what better way to accomplish this than to do a bit of a trial lather. I ran hot water over the soap and put my brush in the bowl on top of the soap to soak. After a couple minutes I emptied out the water, shook the brush once or twice and commenced to swirl. I'm not sure if shredding (and the resulting larger surface area) was a factor or not but a couple minutes later the lather exploded. Recon photos for your viewing pleasure (lather porn :))

Gentlemen, I give you my word that this is NOT super lather and there was absolutely nothing added to this. It's just straight up Williams, water and an Omega Boar brush. Cool huh?
