eshave soap - why so little love?
There has been a lot of talk recently about the great French soaps, with most of the attention going to Martin de Cadre which I agree is a fantastic product. One soap that doesn't seem to get much mention is eshave. As I understand it eshave is a US company but the soap is made in France. I bought the lavender soap in Paris a little while back and I consider it one of my best performers. The lather is thick and creamy and easy to build (even with London's notoriously hard water) and the fragrance is very nice and subtle. It also seems pretty well priced for the quality.
It is a really great product. Perhaps it is the cheesy name, perhaps it is the confusing brand identity (US company, French made, non-specific name) but I think this soap should get a lot more attention.
Anyone have any thoughts?
