    Default Sappo Hill bar soap

So there's this bar soap I found at Wild Oats, called Sappo Hill. It is not a shaving soap, but is a high-glycerin natural soap. It's round like a hockey puck, and just about 3" in diameter. And it costs about $1.80 per bar.

Now my basis for comparison is slim: I've used none of the high-end shaving soaps, only Williams, Burma Shave, and Herban Cowboy. The former two burned me, especially on 2nd passes, and the latter sort of stank and had a thin lather.

The Sappo Hill, though, I can work into a very nice lather. It doesn't seem to me to dry out any faster than Williams; slightly slower, perhaps. The lather is pretty slickery, and never burns me, not even on a third pass.

I've been using Oatmeal, Aloe Vera, Aloe & Oatmeal, Lavender, and Cucumber. All yummy.

Anybody ever try this? Or get happiness from some other non-shaving bar soap?

I use Neutrogena as a base before I lather.
