Madame Scodioli gets my vote.
How about buying some Greek, Irish & Italian barber stuff. They need your money just as badly :)
Definitely a fan of Al's stuff. I religiously use his Calypso and a custom Cedar cream an ASB that he made at my request. It makes waking up in the morning worth it all.
I really like Kell's Original, particularly the Ultra Aloe Blend.
Just got some sample of Mama Bear's soaps. I've only tried one shave yet, but I'm very impressed. It will probably earn a spot next to my Tabac and MWF.
Give it a try. You can get samples of any of their soaps for $1 a slice, each one is enough for a couple of shaves. There are about 100 different scents, so get a bunch of samples and choose your favorite.
Clubman counts as made in the US...right?
All of Pacific Shaving Company's products are made here in the US. Even their containers and packaging are USA made. Pretty cool.
They're best known for their shave oil, but their shaving cream it pretty great quality too.
Em's Place. I really like her glycerin shaving soap, Woodstock to be exact.

I'm not American, but SRD's Bulgarian Rose Otto is my favorite American soap. The Gentlemens' Refinery also makes a fantastic cream as well.
I've found a Natural Vegetable Soap maker on the NY/Penna boarder. Sea Hag soaps. www.seahagsoaps.com who make a round "Camp Bar" for Shaving. Wide choice of fragrances that make excellent Natural Shaving Soap.
