It's up to you. IMO it's not worth it, but on the other hand it is vintage and no longer readily available....
EDIT: I just realized it's only one puck. So a DEFINITE no from me.
Theres so many other soaps and creams out there that I'd like to try for that price. Vintage or not...to me, it's a puck of soap thats meant to be used. Even though I've heard the formulation has changed you can get a puck for a few bucks at many places:shrug:
:banghead:
:rofl2::roflmao:
:aargh::gaah:
:overkill:
ebay strikes again. or "revenge of the NOS". just saying..
But, hey at least the shipping is free!
Let me put it this way. If you are some kind of a collector and want it for that purpose then it's worth it to you. As to shaving, even though the original Williams was far better quality than the stuff they make these days it still doesn't perform to the level of say a Castle Forbes or Trumpers soap and they are far less expensive than that.
I have to agree with everyone here, Although I love William's vintage stuff and their new stuff, I would never pay that much for a vintage puck...I recently found 10 pucks in a local store by me for 2 bucks each, and they were all vintage pucks, If you want one...pm me. :)
or sell them on the bay for 50 bucks a pop ;)
I wouldn't pay that for any soap regardless if it was new or old stock.
Hmm, sure it ain't cheese? Wouldn't mind spending 50$ on a big cake of Tilsit :p :p :p :p
