Martin de Candre other soaps???
I bought(longtime ago) a big bowl of MdC the one in the wooden bowl(LLOOOVVVEEE IT!!!!).
I saw that there's other kind like ''Le Cannelé'', ''Le Beurrier'' and the ''Ice Cream'' is there someone that tried those???
Are they the same paste and scent that the original one?
Thanks
Dominic

Thanked: 1195If I'm not mistaken I think the only difference is the container the soap comes in. They still only have two varieties, scented and unscented.

...believe me whichever size you get, this soap is going to last you donkeys years!
I've had the 170g in the glass bowl since 2010, so almost coming up to two years now and the thing has barely gone down a centimetre. It might be the holy grail for some people, but I have since forgotten what it feels like to open up a brand new soap!

Quite right. I store mine with the lid on and it still smells quite strongly even two years on.
I have managed to shave a month's growth off with this soap. I lathered it for an extra long time and created gobs of lather, enough to shave my legs, head and chest (not that I would!). Shaved like a dream of course, but it just highlights how 'latherable' this soap really is.

Thanked: 109French or French Canadiene? I am 1/4 French Canadiene LaDeu on my father's side.
I mean no harm but to say the French are like anyone else would be to ignore the obvious. They have the most independent view of life and the world no one else can understand. They march armies with wine rations. Now that is some fine thinking.YMMV
It just keeps getting better
