Best Etsy Shave Products?
I found Madame Scodioli on Etsy after somebody posted about her soap in the Shave Of The Day thread. I went up a level into the handmade soap category and found hundreds of products. There seems to be little differentiation in the soaps at least - most use a cold process, tallow or glycerin or both - and many use bentonite or kaolin clay.
Has anyone got experience in these matters? Which are good which are arts&craftsy (well intentioned but incompetent) and what of these clays everyone is using but aren't to be found in expensive products of good repute?

I am now shaving with artifact soaps Old Spice scent shave Puck. Found them on eBay great stuff. Leave your face feeling nice and soft with plenty of cushion for the shave.

I'm a self profess soap whore. I have bought from 3 different unknown craftsman/woman and have not been impress with them. It is such a hit and miss that unless it is ultra cheap or word of mouth, I don't bother anymore. I given away all the five soaps I have bought from etcy or e-bay from three different craftspeople.
For example MNS (Mike Natural Soap) uses kaolin clay, one e-bay soap I bought used the same, both are made at home sort of thing, but they are night and day apart from performance and scents. Double O
