Settle down with my preferred
Gentlemen:
I have wet shaved for a number of years and gone through a vast selection of soaps and creams. Little by little, though, I find myself settling down with my preferred and not replacing my stock of the others. Not that those on the way out are low quality soaps and creams. No, all are fine soaps and creams. They just have not made the preferred status for me — for various reasons. Tabac, De Vergulde Hand, Fitjar, Klar, Taylor of Old Bond Street, Trumper, Truefitt & Hill, Penhaligon and scores of others will be retired once they run out. What will remain on my preferred list of soaps and creams, barring a magical new entry, is as follows:
Creams: Xpec original, Castle Forbes lavender and Santa Maria Novella.
Soaps: Martin de Candre, Mitchell's Wool Fat, Joris, D.R. Harris variety and Provence Sante Verlaine.
Any thoughts on settling down with your preferred, gentlemen?
Stay well and have a Happy New Year.
