I just got my order of this soap this week and I have used it 3 times so far. No question it is a great soap. Easy to lather, lots of lather, lots of slip and cushioning. You really ought to get some. A word of caution though. You will have to like the scent. Fougere is not subtle like De Candre's other soap. Also, it comes in a 200 gram glass tub and given how little you will have to use each time you shave, it will last a very long time, I'm sure. So it's likely worth the cost.

Went to check it out........Fougere SOLD OUT
-
it sold out in like two days
-
Which is a good thing because it will encourage them to make more! This is the second time it's sold out in the last few months, btw.

I bought a pot of the Fougère as my introduction to MdC, and I like it—for both the lather and the scent.
I've only used it a couple of times so far, and while it is undoubtedly a great soap, I'm not sure I would rate it quite so far above other soaps as many people here do. It might grow on me some more with further use though.
I also bought 15ml of their Vétyver EDT, which I think smells great and is also good value.

just got my fougere today....nice stuff.i like it better than the regular scented eventhough they are similar in scent...they are different enough for me to like it better.

Another new Fougere arrival. Love the original scent and the Fougere smells to be a winner as well. This lot is taking MdC longer to sell out than previously. Any thoughts as to if demand is down or batch size is up?

another great day.....starting it off with MdC fougere for a head-shave. really nice soap....just remember to use a pretty dry brush....a lot less water than mikes or mwf.
this soap is easier to add water little by little. with Mikes/mwf i can use a wet brush and not worry about it.
