I thought SRP was a shaving forum. It sounds like I should get in touch with Stephen Hawkins about something he probably couldn't physically do since 1973!

Nah just a little jibberish. I made it all up. If the edge is good go with the flow and enjoy the shave.
Sounds are real as long as they travel in a medium.
Dont worry about it.
I have some razors that make no sound at all along my strop.
The edge is all that matters.

I was trying to thoroughly represent the condition while stropping. For me at least with the sound I was noticing the edge coming up. I was curious if there's a fundamental being missed. I understand the joke which I might have made if stropping was 2nd nature to me as well as to the experts here. I see SRP as a short cut through the learning curve. Not looking to skip it. I've watched Lynn's spine come errantly off the strop during the roll so if the Method is working... Thanks again for all your replies.
