Screwin hook for now.
i use a large hook screwed into a wall stud right around elbow height, in a former walk-in closet where i keep most of my shaving gear. i strop in there before heading next door to the bathroom. or you could have a simple light weight hook or even nail someplace outside your bathroom and then install a nice hook near your sink and bring the strop to it when you are ready to shave.
I use a large coffee cup hook that screws into the cabinet under the sink.

I have a screw in the shelving unit in my closet which is just opposite my sink. I can stand halfway in the closet and strop away.
When In use I use the existing styling open tissue roll hook. Tissue always handy for wiping down oil etc.
When out of the bathroom I use an Ikea wall hook and dead pan jokes about my discipline hobbies when people double take on it.
An eye hook screwed into the cabinet below the counter top. Just about waist height.
Cheers,
Ed
I have mine hanging on the wall ninety degrees from my sink and mirror. I have three anchors with screw hooks screwed in to each anchor, all in a row in a vertical line. I like to experament stropping at different heights(angles), for now. The top is at chest level, 2nd is about tummy level, and the bottom hook is at about crotch level. TMI? :D

When not in use, I hang the strop from the tie rack in my closet. This is outside of the bathroom and away from humidity etc. In use, I hang the strop from the lever type door nob on the locked bathroom door. The lever is just the right size for the ring on the TM strop swivel.
Well, I'm not what you'd call "handy" - screwing a hook into our vanity unit would probably exhaust the limits of my technical skills. So I just hang my strop on the towel rail using a key ring with a swivel clip on the end (like what you get on the end of those necklaces they give you to attach swipe cards to). Works really well unless you get over enthusiastic and pull the towel rack off the wall (but I haven't done that for, oh, about a month now...)
James.
I have three hanging strops, all with different sorts of hanging methods.
Two of the strops have a hole punched at the top in the center. One of these has a clasp and a swivel hook attached so it's actually a little difficult to attach it to anything; the size of the clip is too small to hook around anything. The other has string running through the hole and tied on one end with a bead. The bead is pulled down close to the strop and the loop of string left can easily hang on a door knob and the bead is pushed up to ensure the loop doesn't slip off.
The third strop has a D ring and a rectangular ring attached to either end. I honestly don't have anything to hang it on, but a hook on the underside of a cabinet would work.
Like all things in life... grab the brass ring. Home depot or Lowes have nice looking brass rings and with that, Tony's strop hook works nicely.
I simply loop some chord through the hardware and it's literally good to hang wherever I feel like at the moment. Currently it lives on the cross beam of my wardrobe, but I've hung it on a hook in the bathroom, from door handles, a pull-up bar and top frame door jam. The possibilities are endless.

They got these @ Home Depot in the paint dept. for $2. Hang your strop anywhere.

Mine stays flat on a shelf in the same plastic sleeve I received it. When I strop, I use a carabiner to clip it on to the towel rack on the vanity. It's a little low for my liking but I haven't found a better place to hang it. Yet.
In a nice cotton pair of boxer-briefs, slightly to the left.
