i use a large hook screwed into a wall stud right around elbow height, in a former walk-in closet where i keep most of my shaving gear. i strop in there before heading next door to the bathroom. or you could have a simple light weight hook or even nail someplace outside your bathroom and then install a nice hook near your sink and bring the strop to it when you are ready to shave.
Be just and fear not.

I have a screw in the shelving unit in my closet which is just opposite my sink. I can stand halfway in the closet and strop away.

When In use I use the existing styling open tissue roll hook. Tissue always handy for wiping down oil etc.
When out of the bathroom I use an Ikea wall hook and dead pan jokes about my discipline hobbies when people double take on it.

An eye hook screwed into the cabinet below the counter top. Just about waist height.

I have mine hanging on the wall ninety degrees from my sink and mirror. I have three anchors with screw hooks screwed in to each anchor, all in a row in a vertical line. I like to experament stropping at different heights(angles), for now. The top is at chest level, 2nd is about tummy level, and the bottom hook is at about crotch level. TMI?

Steve

Thanked: 155When not in use, I hang the strop from the tie rack in my closet. This is outside of the bathroom and away from humidity etc. In use, I hang the strop from the lever type door nob on the locked bathroom door. The lever is just the right size for the ring on the TM strop swivel.
