Thread: Strop tension

I have found little need to visit the stones.
Jerry Sell was a fixture on this forum until passing away in June 2016. He loved coming over to my house to have a honing session. None of my razors needed it, but it was a fun session.
Well I maintained my razors for 18 months after his departure with just with strops and pastes. At the 18 month point I had 3 out of 13 that needed a few passes on the 12,000 grit.
The point is, a razor can be kept in fine shape with strops.
