I might be missing something but apparently you have to buy £20 of goods, if I just try to buy one bar it says the checkout is below my limit or something.

Yes it is a complication, but if you setting up there are more things to be interested in and all these small bits add up. Otherwise if you are not lucky let me know. I will not be doing my order soon as i am sorting my job at present but then I could put it together with mine.
ChrisL sells powder in the classifieds and i think he said he can ship all over the world.
WOW, I think they sent me the wrong stuff. This isn't CrO, it's magic green fairy dust! I just shaved off it and the blade glided as if the hairs weren't there! This is unlike any straight shave I've had before. I got a bit carried away and gave myself 2 tiny weepers so I took that as a sign to stop after 2 passes - and the final result was great.
I used it on a block of balsa, painted on using mineral (baby) oil and spread evenly using paper kitchen towel.
I had honed and used diamond paste on the razor a few days ago. Today I did 12 passes on the CrO (6 straight, 6 X pattern.)
This was so much better than the diamond paste (alone). Much, much smoother, and I'm certain it's sharper too. :y
 Cro2 is pretty good.
That explains it all. :tuQuote:

Yes I have that stuff too. It is clear Chromoxide. I did write them and reason how they have it is that this is left from a big job they were doing repacking it for use in poterry enameling. Any contamination and it would give different colour after baking the enamel.
Just don't overdo it like Croaker did...

I guess there is a difference between apply on a leather and in a lather.:D
