Thank you one and all, feel MUCH better now......
Really, I was feeling more than a bit 'Different' than most on this site because of the nicks and scuffs on the Illinois 206 I bought new when I first started Str8 Razor shaving about 8 months ago, now I now I'm not alone!!! As most I started out watching Lynn A's great DVD about the lost late great art of the srt8 razor, very very informative, but as does every one I niticed not a nick or scrape on ANY of his strops, hanging or otherwise. Of course when I first started stroping my own razors and the little buggers first apeared on the strop I thought there was mabe no hope for my handy work, bloody shame, but now I'm more sure its just a part of the learning curve we all have to endure. Thanks again, this was a great thread for us newbies.
PS: How does Lynn keep all his stroping surfaces for ruddy perfect any way!!!????
As ever 'tinkersd of SRP'
