As you all probably know I lost (it was stolen) the wonderful 3" latigo strop that I got from Tony. I will be ordering one of the travel strops from Tony when they are ready, but for right now I am using the belt I wear every day.

My problem is that its been 3 or 4 shaves and I really cant tell a difference in the shave between stropping and not stropping (or at least not stropping with a real strop).

This leads me to believe that either:
a. I was never stropping correctly, but I find that pretty hard to believe considering all the time I invested into reading about the right technique etc.
b. My razor isnt sharp enough to benefit from stropping, but they both shave very well, so I dont think thats it.
c. My face just cant tell the difference
d. it takes more than a few shaves without stropping or stropping on a good strop to really feel the difference in the blade.

Any ideas?
